Jorma Kaukanen solo acoustic

Here's Jorma's blog and set list from Sunday night's show at the restored Stoughton Opera House. Just scroll down a bit for the Stoughton info. If you get a chance and he's near it's well worth the price of admission. (Unlike most shows these days.)

Cool, thanks. Will be seeing Hot Tuna Saturday. I'm pretty psyched since it'll be my first Electric show. Hate I'm missing Wanee MF. Bad timing with sons' finals looming.

vcwatkins: here's an interesting place to poke around for Hot Tuna set lists, etc.
If you've not seen them electric before you're in for a treat.

Thanks dromunds. Wasn't aware of that site. Very interesting.
Hoping someone - Larry Campbell maybe(?) - brings a fiddle. I'm missing Papa John about now. (sniff)

While seeing both acoustic Hot Tuna and Jorma w/ Barry I still like electric Tuna. The line up they have now is the best in years w/ Barry on all kinds of mandolins and tenor guitar and Larry Campbell mentioned before as a huge multi tasker on Telecaster, fiddle, mandolin, peddle steel and acoustic guitar. Jorma lets him lose and he's a way better fit than G.E. Smith ever was. While his wife Teresa is easy on the eyes I could do w/o her. Jorma changed up guitars from a boatload of Les Pauls to a Fender Jazzmaster Mexican for $650. He answered my questions on the blog about the Collingswood N.J.show back in Dec.
