I ordered the Philharmonic Slims in smokey gray over red oak over four months ago and they finally arrived!
Here is a shot of the actual speakers.
Jim Salk of Salk Sound did the premium finish and the photos don't do them justice. They are truly furniture grade.
They are burning in now but I'm liking what I'm hearing so far coming from the amazing little two-way Totem Hawks. The open back design truly lets the ambience of the recording float around in the room and it's pretty cool. Loving the tone.

I've recently been down the SongTower path w/ dome tweets. Very enticing house sound. I've moved-on to the ribbon tweeter Veracity HT2s
The sound will only get better with time!! Enjoy

Amen bro...Jim does an excellent job on all his finishes. I don't recall you ever posting a review of those HT2's.....very nice speakers.
