Well I got my Pioneer 305 h/p today. I paid a BIN price of $29.95 w/ free shipping. These are so far suprior in so many ways to either what I have now or owned in the past. My Super-X were heavy w/ plas
tic ear cups that sweat these are leather, my Shure's are so bright they are annoying. These as the reviews say are bass heavy which is fine for the tunes I listen. I also treated myself to a few LPs from Good Will. Linda Ronstadt, Hall & Oates and The Souther -Hillman -Furay Band.

I am immediately reminded of a scene in the movie Dazed and Confused:
Congrats man, what are you plugging them into?

Mostly for late night bedroom listening into my mid '70s NIKKO 6065 receiver. I already plugged them into my NAD 1020A through my big system and they sounded even better. For $30 I clearly I won on this pair. They are ubber comfortale w/ leather ear cups and weigh about a good 1/2 as much as any h/p I had ever owned w/ the exception of some generic convertible CVS type brand that I only use for my computer listening.2chl- Adcom GFA- 555-Onkyo P-3150v pre/amp- JVC-QL-A200 tt- Denon 1940 ci cdp- Adcom GFS-6 -Modded '87 SDA 2Bs - Dynamat Ext.- BH-5- X-Overs VR-3, RDO-194 tweeters, Larry's Rings, Speakon/Neutrik I/C- Cherry stain tops Advent Maestros,Ohm model E
