Happy Easter, Passover, or Just a Great Spring Weekend!

I'm visiting my daughter in Baltimore for Easter, and was just thinking how lucky I am to be alive and how blessed we are to live in the good old US of A (or in our good neighbor to the north).

Blessings and good wishes to all!

Yes Sir we are so fortunate. The 1st time I visited a 3rd world country, it really opened my mind to how good we live. Feeling very thankful for my wonderful family too.

Yep, eggs all around for everyone.

Have part of the clan coming over for dinner. Only 16 people this time. Lamb chops, Honey baked Ham, and Lasagna are the main attraction.....besides my cheerful self. ;)

"Two Buck Chuck" wine is sold only in Trader Joe's. The real name is "Charles Shaw" wine. Also, despite the nickname, outside of California you'll likely pay more than two bucks for it.

Some say it's the best wine bargain on the market; others call it "rot gut."

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I'm celebrating Passover too. Gonna pass over the junk and go straight for the lamb chops and good wine. Maybe run over a few kids too looking for that Golden egg the wife hid outside. I know there's 10 bucks in that one. No shame in my game.

I fall into the latter category. Bought a bottle a few years ago, poured a glass and one sip was all it took. Poured the whole bottle down the sink. Some of the worst wine I've ever tasted.

LOL....YEP, around here it's 3 bucks now. I have a relative who is very well off, millions well off. He hosted a family holiday dinner one year and had a few cases of "2 buck Chuck". I drank water rather than get sick from that junk.

Anyway....hope your Easter is a good one all.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated -- laid down in a cool cellar to age for a decade or so! :)

I know I did, I'm beat. Kids had a good time looking for all those eggs. Even the 3 dogs from family members got a lamb chop.....or 2.

I always am in charge of dessert with the kids. I sneak them back into the kitchen and we make chocolate shakes. Which gets washed down before the other goodies come out. We take turns throwing stuff in the blender, Cookie dough ice cream, Hersheys chocolate syrup, banannas, sprinkles, Oberweis milk, and some Girl Scouts mint chocolate cookies which btw I think I sent half the troop to Washington this year. Top off with whipped cream, more sprinkles, and a Kit-Kat bar. After seeing those, the adults wanted one and back to the kitchen I went.

Good day....weather was great here in Chicago too. Think I'm gonna have to invest in one of those Mormon tables. You know....the kind that stretch for half a city block.
