Owm5 with Rtia6?

Does it make sense to use owm5 speakers combined with Rtia6 /csia4 for a 5.1 system?
Right now, i'm running without any surround speakers (3.1) and i would be looking at something relatively small to mount on the rear wall...

I am in the same situation but with RTi8s. And I am waiting for the right RTi4's to pop up to complete my 5.1. I say skip owm5 if space is not your primary concern. But if space saving is what you are looking to do then owm5s can be used.

Are the Fxia4 MUCH better than the OWM3 or 5?
    And are they really bigger?

FXis are best suited for surround duties with their dipole/bipole configuration. And yes much better than owm3/5.
And yes, they are a little bigger too.

But, FXis will have the same tweeters as your RTis so you will not notice the sound change when it travels from one speaker to another. At least thats what I understood from the members here, and I am inclined to believe them.

If not FXis, I'd go for RTiA1/RTi4s for rears. With owm 5/3's the crossover would be too high to use with RTiA5's you have. I have RTi8's, the older version of your A5s and I am happy crossing them at 60 or 80hz. With owms you will be crossing them over at 100 hz or higher, unless your receiver is able to set crossovers for individual speakers.

I would like to keep my surrounds not to big, so FXia4 would be better. But will I miss a much better sound compared to the FXia6?
