So I have been wondering in this forum for some time. I don't have many close friends here at home. So not too many places to vent out.

I am the only FSE for my company and that takes me away from my kids for long times. The good part is my kids know and they understand the work and they are okay with it.

All the work I do is to benefit them.

The reason I say today was an interesting day is because I got a company bonus, a raise, a promotion and also I live in a rental home and the landlord just offer me the house for sale at a very good price to buy. All in one day.

I guess it pays to sacrifice in life.
