3 channel Amps

Anyone using these for HT or music? Is the "fad" over AFA music? I don't want to put any more money into a AV receiver. (I have a Denon 1913) but just F&F a new LSiM706c.
I'm 90/10 music right now. What have I done :)

Been looking for a 200 or 140 watt B&K 3 ch myself for HT. My AVR is powerful enough to deal with the surrounds.

I run an Aragon 8008x3 & before that an Acurus A200x3. The Aragon is on a whole other level.

I always hear good reviews on that series of Aragon 8008 amps and that they are highly regarded.

Here are some others I ran across:

    Marl Levison Proceed amp 3 - http://charlotte.craigslist.org/ele/4867728760.html

    Acurus 200x3 - https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/ele/4908458334.html

These are what I'd try hard for.

IIRC there are some folks close that might be able to snatch either of those.... if I had any money or need I'd be looking lol...

Personally....I'd hop/skip/and jump over to that Proceed and snatch it up. Great amp from a great maker. Proceed was top of the line in their day. Good price too. Now trade in all those S&H green stamps you got under the bed and go get it.

I using a Adcom 5503 to power my front 3 also, and letting my NAD T-758 power the 2 surround speakers. works great. but you will need preouts on your AVR to use a external amp that way. Red I don't think the 1913 has preout's to add amp to your setup

Sadly no. I wouldn't have bought it but the wifey said now or never
at the time and that was what I could afford. One change begets two more.

Oh how I want that proceed...even have family in Charlotte. Bad timing and bad habit of looking for stuff at the wrong time. Better someone else nab it.
