Would the FXi rears be an acceptable set of rears for a LSiM 705 and 706c front?

Matching within the product lines is preferable but for rears not so much IMO. Especially for HT, if you're talking multi channel music you'll want to match...

I absolutely agree with the front stage all matching, but didn't thing the rears were as critical from what I've read. Even with the 50% off I can not justify LSiM 702 for the rears. Have heard/read great things about the FXiA4/6's, which is why I was wondering how they would work with an LSiM front stage.
    Thanks for the response.

I guess I'm comparing the same vs RTi series. Interested to hear comparisons vs some bookshelf options.

I did it for a while and it as fine. For movies the difference is fairly minimal. For 5.1 type music the difference is more noticeable, but it's really only noticeable after you get the LSiM surrounds and you hear what you've been missing.
