Hello all,
I have a pair of Rti 100's which have been trouble free since new until recently. At higher volume I can here the powered woofers vibrating/ pulsating. I have removed one of the woofers from the cabinet and do not see any physical damage and the amps are working properly. I have been seeking a replacement for the factory RD7206-1 woofer that has the similar bass frequency response of 25Hz and all I seem to find are in the 40Hz range. This is an example of what I've been looking at:
http://www.simplyspeakers.com/replacement-speaker-woofer-w-6pc-8.html
Will I lose that much low bass feel with something like this or does anyone know of a source to get me closer to original specs? Ideally I would like to to be in the 150+ Watt handling range because I will finally be adding a 2 channel amp (Adcom GFA 545/555) to the current
setup.
Thanks, EN

I dont know nothing about that woofer. But did you call Polk to see if they still stock it. I know there are some they dont. Hopefully someone will chime in. Good luck on your search..
