RTi6 vs FXi's

With the Friends and Family sale going on the FXi A6's are looking awfully tempting to me. I just recently purchased a great pair of RTi6's, though. Because my dad is currently using the RTi6's and loving them he'd probably just buy them off of me for $200 even and then I could get either the FXi A4's or A6's.

Considering I will have RTi 10's and a CSi5 up front with an Onkyo 805 driving them...which would make better rear speakers in a 5 channel setup?

I bought the FXIA6's last friends and family I use them as side surrounds in my 7.2 . Glad I got them I was using two pair of RTIA3'S sold a pair of them and then got them. If you can swing at that price you should do it.

For the price I would go the FXi A6 's and then you would not have to upgrade any more. I own a pair and they really widen the rear stage on movies and multi channel music.

I could even go with a pair of RTi A6's and use those as my rears for the time being. Then use those as computer speakers when I find a pair of used FXi3's.

This was a quite awhile ago , but I had used RTi4's as rears and replaced them with a pair of FXi3's . The improved soundstage won me over instantly and Ive never looked back . Grab a set of Fxi's (over Rti) for your rears and you'll be glad you did . I still use the my Fxi3's and luv'm , but may upgrade during this sale .
Btw , I still have those Rti4's and use them as my front "presence" setup .

Thanks for the feedback! I found a pair of FXi5's in my area for $180 so I'm going to jump on those then sell my dad the RTi6's for the same. Helps us both out.
