See what kind of deals I can make. Not looking for anything in particular this year so options are wide open.

Any local shows around where some of you are and are they worth attending or do you find they are all priced the same or over priced?

We have a few good ones around the DC area - I usually have good luck - like anywhere else though the deals are to be had through chatting with the seller and making a reasonable offer. The biggest thing I find at shows are harder to find items - like to show up without a plan and see what presents itself - often not what I thought - but usually pretty happy. The only part I dislike is dealing with the crowds - they are packed here!

We have a show here 2 to 3 times a year. I find prices at the show to be all over the place. I haven't been to it in years.

Went yesterday and it was busy, too busy that you had to wait behind a couple of people to look at what was available. Not my scene, I don't mind crowds but it was a little too much. Did a sweep of the place twice, looked in some bins and picked up a $2 80's record that I needed. got in my car and went to my local store called Grooves and spent some money there! :) All in all a good day and glad to see that the world of records is coming back.

Wonder how long it will last this time?

Yep! That sounds about like here - much prefer the local brick & mortar too!

back in the day I would go and it was great fun. they would show 16mm films that were cool. Picked up stuff I never heard of. I think I can date the last one I went to…
