How far from the wall?
Appreciate any feedback you guys can spare on how far front speakers should/could/need to be from the wall behind. Read some on-line audio 'expert' reviews of LSIM setups when they came out (usually 707's not my 705's). Most made reference to moving the speakers 3-4 and more feet from the wall behind to maximize the listening experience.
How much is space behind my 705's going to affect my aural experience? I don't have room to even try them 3ft from the wall, they are angled, closest point is only 6-8 ins from wall.
My listening room is wide but narrow, my 703's are 10-12ft away to the side & behind, my fronts are 11ft away mostly left & right, TV & CS20 8ft. Measurements from the 3020 YPAO R.S.C speaker set up. As always, appreciate any input.

I'll add my $.02
Most people set up there systems with a TV/Stereo rack in between the speakers. Move the speakers out where the drivers are not behind the rack system. This will greatly improve your "stereo" sound i.e. sound stage etc
I know it is not always ideal placement but if you get some one-on-one time with your system pull them out and put them back when your not in "critical" listening mode2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures
