A Toot and a Snore in '74....

Been looking for this for a long time now, and finally grabbed a copy of the last known recordings made of John Lennon and Paul McCartney together in 1974. It is coming from Great Britain, so it will be a couple weeks before I get my hands on it. It will likely be the first recording played in my new audio den.

A review will follow...

Never heard of this. I thought they seriously disliked each other in '74. Looking forward to your review NJ.

I have not hard it yet, nor have I searched for it, except to find a copy. I learned of it only a couple years ago while learning a bit about the post-Beatle era when Paul's son prematurely announced that he and the sons of the original "Fab Four" were forming a group called the "New Beatles"...

My understanding is the Lennon boys put a stop to it as Sean was not interested in being a part of it, and the last thing Julian wants to be is compared to his father.

The recording is very raw, without much benefit of a mastering process at all, so I don't have any expectations as to quality. Anyway... I just want to turn this one on and pretend that I am a fly on the wall and just soak in the experience of being in that room, at that moment in time.
