Holy Nordost!

I have been super obsessive over home theater for years. Lately I have building a very modest 2 channel system. And over the past year I have been on a cable quest. I've slowly been blowing myself away. I have discussed in an earlier thread mit cables and has opened my eyes to cables, buying a used pair of avt3's. I liked them so much, I bought another pair from mit clearance center for a steal! And moved them to my home theater set up. My latest is the new Nordost purple flare Leif series. I got them used off canuck audio mart, with less than 5 hours on them, basically new, and have Norse jumpers for a steal! Maybe I've had too many beers, but I am hearing things, I have never heard from my speakers before. Almost as if the sound is behind me! I'm in love! Less bass than the mit, but super smooth sound. My modest system includes... Lis15 fortress modded with db woofers. Benchmark dac 1 pre, b&k reference s2 mono blocks, audio quest columbias, and the Nordost cables. I'm friggen in love with the 15's right now. Absolutely smitten! Such a simple and kick **** sounding system. It's perfect. Forgot to mention, everything run through usb, and flac off a MacBook pro. Damn. I'm in trouble here. This is my crack.

    Definitely too many beers... :D

Cables are the icing on the cake, but equally important to the experience. Congrats on the upgrades.
