Very nice sub Faster, you also have two cute kids. When you get a chance give the movie "Open Range" a look, the movie, IMO
wasn't the best western but did have a couple of strong LFE (thunder & 12ga shotgun blast) that really waffled my shorts and totaly came as a supprise, I almost jumped just because it came at me hard and strong. The other movies I'm sure you already have heard about and you'll be watching again I'm sure.
Congrats and have fun

Man!! Dual 12"s?!?!?! That's sweet!! (The point of all this, huh?) 600 watts? What the peak watts? How low does it go? How much does it weigh? lol Are both the drivers powered, and are they both down firing? I'll aspire to get that thing one day!!George Grand wrote: »

well at 115 lbs, build isnt a issue.. it weighs 153 lbs on the pallet and boxed up.. it has a black textured type finish which isnt furniture qaulity but for a sub, I think its durable and looks good... Far as saving for one, They have subs that start at 599.00 up to 4k, Its online only and they give you 45 days money back if your not happy/// that cannot be possible however if you don't mind a large sub and great performance!!!MY HT RIG:

Dude, I don't mean to be blunt but use the search function. There are probably like 5 bazillion SVS threads. Or better yet, take a look at www.svsubwoofers.com for all the info you could possibly need. Just my .02:rolleyes: -
Thanks, Ken; I was hoppin' that the pictures on their site were grainy opposed to the finish actually being rough like that. I forgot about the search option; I need to use that more often. Sorry if I put too much of a strain on anyone by asking more questions.George Grand wrote: »

It'll go down to 16Hz?!?! That baby'll rock!!!
Actually, in the 20 Hz tune, it will dig to 15 Hz strong.
In the 16 Hz tune, only God and Tom V knows how deep it can dig - my test rig goes down to 10 Hz and the sub's response is just starting to trail off at 12 Hz.
The 20 Hz tune is all anyone will ever need to deep bass - it does 16-17 Hz pipe organ just fine and that's about as deep as it gets."What we do in life echoes in eternity"
