just purchased tweeter off flea bay only plays at 50% volume compared to another one i have that is suppose to be new. has anyone seen this before? the guy i bought it from said they work or not, not at low volume. Thanks.

Try swapping the tweeters between speakers, see if the decrease in volume follows the tweeter or stays with the speaker.

I'd be trying for a refund or exchange (if he has another one on hand) if it was enough money to deal with it.

This was a brand new, never used SL2000?

heres the deal i have 3 sets sdas,crs,2.3,2as. one of tweeters stoped working on the 2as, called polk to upgrade out of stock. i have one brand new sl2000 in box from polk thats my spare. in stead of useing that i bought one of ebay to use until i can get the ones from polk 194s and not use my spare.

See if you can get a refund for the bad ebay SL2000 and use your new in box SL2000 for 2-3 weeks until the 194's are back?
