I might need help with picking up a pair of speaker stands in downtown Seattle, then packing and shipping them to me. All costs will be covered.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I got boxes yesterday so I hope to have them out to Jesse next week. The seller was about 6 miles from me and I was able to pick up the stands easy on the way to work. Glad I could help.

I was trying to make this as easy as possible for Jeff. The plan was for him to pick up the stands from the seller, then I would have Craters and Freighters pick them up from him and ship to me. So, they sent me a quote, which was just crazy high. Jeff stepped up and said he would go through all the trouble of packing and shipping that I was trying to have him avoid. I cannot thank Jeff enough, Thank You!

Hey, now we can vote "Awesome" for a post! Woohoo, this is great!

I voted Awesome above for Jeff's effort. Does he get an "Awesome Badge" or something? Do I need to find a post of his and vote "Awesome"? I don't want Jesse to get an Awesome vote for Jeff's effort! :p

Hey...I also see we can no longer "Disagree" with someone's post...must be so that nobody feels bad. Kind of like giving a "Participation" ribbon in kids' sports.

And, what about "Vote Up" and "Insightful"? Can somebody explain these? This place is getting too difficult and confusing to hang around anymore.

Summary: Well done, Jeff! Very kind of you. :)

    An update:

The stands arrived on Wednesday in perfect condition. Jeff (bikerboy) packed them to withstand anything the shipping company could throw at them, just a superb job. He really went above the call of duty in helping me out and I am truly grateful.

I had a chance tonight to set them up for a little test before I mass load them. It's amazing what a difference it made going from 37.5" to 40" in the tweeter height, not to mention going from a wooden/MDF Sanus stand that weighs maybe 5 lbs. to the Sanus UF30, which weighs 18 lbs. empty. I plan on adding about 35 lbs. to the 18 for a rock solid foundation.
