For sale is a Nakamichi RX-505 3 head cassette deck. It is in very poor cosmetic condition.
The Bad- the outer plastic window that goes over the cassette tray is missing also part of the tray is broken on the bottom. The face plate is bent on the upper left I think and has scratches and the top cover is scratched.
It does not want to flip the cassette over when it comes to the end of it, this may be due to the issue with the broken tray and missing cover, it acts like it wants to then stops
The Good- it plays and FF and RW work and sounds great, this may be a perfect candidate for a non working one in great cosmetic shape for a heart and lung transplant at any rate I figured it was too nice of a player to throw away.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all
