Samsung 78" Curve TV..

So me and wife went to look at TV's, and ended up purchasing a Samsung 78" Curve, we have looked at it many times but the price was more than I wanted to pay, it was still pricey IMO but not like it was a few months ago..

We pick it up next Friday, and we both are excited to get it hooked up. Now I'm shopping for a new receiver, im sure I will stay with Pioneer SC series but I'm not sure which one just yet as I haven't looked at them for some time. I love my SC-07 but it don't have 3D pass through, and the wife really wants the 3D, I can live without it but not a big deal either, at least the OPPO will be ready in the rack. :-)

Anyone here own a curve??

It will be hard to pull my Plasma out, but I like new toys as well, and the Plasma will go in the bedroom...

    I have the speakers, 7.1 system with the RTiA9 series, with SVS sub, so I'm good there, im just wondering if I can just send one HDMI cable to the TV from the OPPO for the 3D and one HDMI cable to the receiver, if I remember right the BDP 95 has two HDMI's out, I will have to look..

    I don't want to pull my BDP 105 out of my 2 channel set up..

    That's awesome Larry congratulations I've seen those Samsung curved sets a time or two. I bet you can't wait until next week. The 105 has two HDMI outs you would think the 95 does also.

    Super nice TV. Was never sold on the curved set up until I was at my local visions and saw the same Samsung you bought. And it's gorgeous. Love the large curved screen. Don't think it really works well with smaller models. And honestly Samsung is doing a great job with their led tvs. I own a 65" 7150 woth local dimming and several buddies with plasmas comment on how great the blacks are :smile:
