Polk LS70 driver replacements

I am going to be looking for replacement tweeters for a pair of LS70's. I've seen SL6500's on eprey, would they be suitable replacements or should I wait for a pair of SL6000's? I have emailed Polk about acquiring replacements as well.

Thanks for the reply. I had just found info suggesting the LS series used the SL6000, but I haven't had a chance to pull the drivers yet. You are most likely correct. I would be looking for a pair shipped to WI. Please let me know if you have spares you are interested in selling

Polk was known to change #'s back in the day. I just pulled an original from one of my LS50's and it's labeled as SL6001. The spares I have are marked 6001 on the box but the tweeters themselves have SL6501 labels. Actually just double checked. I think the difference is bucking magnets on the newer ones.
