Hey @tonyb am I right in that it is a C7 connector on the end, or is it a IEC?

Considering also an 8ft pair of Gregg Straley Reality bi-wires, spades all around if any one is interested. These have cut the mustard the longest of any cable I've had. Not sure on price yet, will post one up soon.

Thanks Tony for the pleasurable transaction. I haven't had a whole lot of time to listen lately and frankly my recent attempts to sit and listen were rather compromised by the fact that my rig just didn't sound too good!

Post-MIT install (between DAC and pre) things got a heck of a lot better--mostly because I realized that the right channel stepped-volume level control on my PS Audio pre had been on an oxidized step--right channel static, off-centered vocals, no soundstage, yuck. Once I got that sorted out I'm back to the sound that keeps my butt planted in the sweet spot! If I really want to do a direct comparo I'll have to make another go of it, but it sounded so good last night I'm in no hurry to start juggling components again.
