c/02 Gas laser CAD cutting machine for home hobbyist use.

I saw this in this months Model Airplane News and wondered if this would be of any use to the fabricators on here.
It is designed to allow laser cut balsa frame and fuselage parts to be made at home from downloaded plans.
But I bet it could also be used for cutting small sheet metal or plastic parts as well as engraving.
It should be possible to program multiple passes to allow cutting of thicker, tougher material.I
It may require a focus adjustment as the cuts get deeper.
If you are located in Las Vegas where the manufacturer is located it would be worth getting a first hand demonstration if you are interested.
It's just another useful technology coming down into the hobbyist price range.
It's not free but it is orders of magnitude less than an industrial machine. $3500.00
