Subwoofer for RTI A5 speakers
I am starting to build my first home theater because my old Polk Surroundbar SDA IHT does not get loud enough being run through my Samsung Aquos LC-70LE650U.
I went with the Yamaha RX-V675 which is 7.2 with 105w per channel. I am going to run a 2.1 setup for now. I bought a pair of RTI A5 speakers and want to get a recommendation for a subwoofer to complement the speakers and the room size which is 15 x 30 and one of the 15' walls opens up to the rest of the house. If it matters I have 8 ft ceilings.
Ps I looked at the PSW10 but only being 50w I would say it’s too small.

I was going to suggest the JL Audio F113 sub that is for sale here on the forum...cuz...well, I love spending other folk's money

Budget is hopefully less than $500.

+2 on Ken's suggestion."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

Ok thanks for the feedback. Some of the recommendations I have gotten are the pb1000 and another is the premier acoustics pa150. Any thoughts on the pa150?

Personally... Garbage compared to the SVS. If you get the PA150 you will eventually want to ulgrade and basically be out more since your not going to recoup all the cost of that sub when you see used.
I'd look hard at SVS,Outlaw Audio, HSU new or used options.
Buy the biggest baddest sub you can to start w. Easy to turn it down. But with a lesser sub you can turn it up only so much.
