Hey all,
I would like to replace my janky but great monster AV700 bar. I have been looking at furman, panamax, Belkin.
I need at least 8 outlets and one that has filtration as well. And under $100, I can do used or new.
Also, I recently picked up PFB AC-9 and 14SE cables. I love them, however I still have to use a cheater plug on the AC-9, which I do NOT like at all. Is their any way I can doing something else? It really bothers me using a nice PC and a cheapy cheater plug On the end.
THANKS!
Cheers.

Furman makes a neat looking rack mountable one that can be had for like $60, M-8x2. I've heard several people say you may have to spring for something like the PL-8C to get proper filtration though, as the cheap one is apparently a glorified power strip that you can put in your rack. I can't verify this.

Thanks.
I have been eyeballing that model as well. I don't have a rack BUT I can use a rack mount style. I think my biggest problem is the hiss along with the damn cheater plug, God it looks terrible. The hiss is more noticeable as volume rises. I bought a belkin "home theater surge/filter bar from Lowe's today just to see if any difference.
WITHOUT the cheater plug it sounded like electricity combined with hiss from tweeter (best way to describe it).
WITH cheater no electricity just a lesser hiss.
I call parasound today. 90% of the time is the coaxial line going into the cable box And to mcheck it with a possibility of a coaxial isolation box. I checked and I fall into 10% lmao. No difference for better or worse when I unhook the coaxial. Or run a extension cord......NOT going to happen lmao. Wife be like epic STD.
I am kinda baffled.
I just want a "silent" sound. Kind of like a tv, I want the blacks to BE blacks and whites whites, not grey. LoL.
I will continue my Journey lol. C
However my birthday is first week of March and I just found a mint pair of Polk Rti10 (black) for $320. Just might get them lol. my family was Wanting to get me a new Siberian husky since my best friend of 9 years passed away 1.5 weeks ago.
We'll see,
Cheers!!Polk Lsi9
