Truly gorgeous. Both cosmetically and sonically. These are among the top 2-3 sets of high end speakers I've owned (which is a considerable list of over 100 at this point). Very even from top to bottom. Very musical and non-fatiguing. I have the original boxes for these and I don't see a nick or scratch on them anywhere. From a smoke-free home. I live just north of San Antonio for anyone that would care to audition. Shipping would be actual costs at the buyer's expense. I'm asking $1999 for the pair (+shipping), which is half off a new pair. I will also be selling a Class D Audio (4 channel, 300wpc) amplifier which is the perfect amp for these. Two channels to drive the bass drivers and two to drive the mids/highs. This amp is very stable and doubles to 600wpc into 4 ohms. Price for the amp is $750 if purchased with the speakers. $800, if not. Email if interested.

Do you like your omens better than the 707's???Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!!

Not at all. The Polk's are a much better speaker although the Omens are great with vocals and a bit more 'snappy'. Incidentally, I am also selling the Zu Omens for $775 obo in a special order cherry finish. I'm actually selling a number of items (Cambridge 840a Integrated, Quicksilver Audio mid mono tube amps, Audio Nirvana 8" single driver speakers, etc) which I will probably post another ad for.

price for the Cambridge 840?

Price drop to $1850 for the speakers and $750 for the 4 channel Class D amp. The combination at $2600 (new cost $5300) is comparable with anything out there up to $15k. I listened to the Polk 707s at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest and it was amazing how superior these were to most of the $10-40k speakers there. They also were one of the best looking/built speakers there as well. Best speaker Polk has made to date.

Man, I want those 707's.
I've monkeyed with my privates twice looking at the picture.
