U-Verse Monthly Bill

I've been a subscriber for 4 years and my recent bill just went up an additional $9 a month for a grand total of $245/mo. Thinks it's time to make a phone to the retention department and if this fails I will be looking for another provider.

If you're a subscriber and not within a promo period, I ask you to please look at your bill and list your service items along with their monthly charge. Here's mine:

Monthly Charges
U300- $95
HD- $10
3 Receivers- $27
Internet Max- $52
Voice- $42.93
Modem- $7
Other Charges- $11.07

Thanks in advance.

We've negotiated our contract down significantly every year.

We just tell them it's too pricey and if they don't give us some sort of deal we will just drop their TV and use our Hulu, Netflix and the web to watch the shows a we care about. We've considered that a couple times anyway since the shows we REALLY like are all on regular TV or Hulu.

Thankfully it's worked and our bill dropped each year to a better number.

Sometimes you need to call a couple times to get ahold of someone who will actually help you though.

That's about right. I have the Comcast Xfinity triple play at 120 a month, plus extra for HD, Same type of U300 package, one extra receiver, one extra movie channel, dvr service. I've gone back and forth to ATT over the years when I get pissed off at Comcast and their price structures but in the end they do have the best picture and library of on demand stuff.

Stuff costs money man, good stuff even more. Their internet too is the best available to me at the moment. As much as we all complain about how much Comcast sucks, others suck even more. So we are left with the lesser of 2 evils....at least until they open up the industry to more suppliers.

Go back to Comcast and as a new customer you can probably shave 80 bucks off that bill...and for 2 years.

C'mon man, you haven't watched TV in almost 40 years and still surf the internet using dial up ? It may be 1977 inside your house, but open a window and peek outside once in awhile and you may discover it's 2015. lol Even the throwbacks in the middle east out in the desert are more up to date than you.

Friends call me a electronic hermit and the last time I open a window I was shocked how the world is getting. As you know I have a thang for cell phones and wifi microwave. I used to have a bumper sticker (yes I have a car and not a horse lol) that said "TV- The More You Watch The Less You Know". While were on the subject of bumper stickers, also had one that said " Don't Steal- the Government doesn't like Competition". I did remove that one because of twice being pulled over by the police. I really enjoy going out in the public because its like watching TV, its like watching a Si-fi comedy out there. As for dial up we can't get it where we live. Also dial-up being slow keeps me off the net except looking at what Pokies have to chat about.lol

PS. Must admit I have smashed lots of mouse's being on dial- up, >:)

And you shouldn't have to. Kind of like beating your clothes on a rock in the river to get them clean. We have washing machines. Sure you have to buy one but is it worth it?, YES!!
