Early Model 10s, Non Polk drivers

Hi,
I parted out my model 10s and sold all of the components on Ebay. The winning bidders are thinking that none of the parts are Polk since none of the speakers say Polk. Does anyone know if the very early models did not say Polk? They look like Polk with their rubber surrounds, coated cones. The crossovers looked a bit messy as well. All of the internal connections were soldered. Can anyone lend any insight into this one?
Thanks, Keith
