CTA SACD

Chicago Transit Authority sacd mofi just arrived. I havent gotten to listen to it on the stereo at home just yet but, at work, redbook layer with sony cans and a geek out 1000 headphone/dac using the computer cd player for the transport, it's darn good. I think at home it will beat the LP. That LP and the second Chicago LP both great music but horrible recording / mastering. This isn't perfect but it's better. I have II on preorder. This one took about 1.5 years on preorder before it came out. I ordered II the same time. We shall see how long it takes.

Anyway, so far so good!

It took over a year after the announced it for it to hit the market. I had it on pre-order along with Chicago II.
I thought their first few lp's i thought had some great music but again not recorded well.
