I just opened this thread and read the first post. I knew I had a picture of both versions of the amp/plate that might help the op. It's rare that I get to help someone, so I spent 15 minutes looking for it on the forum. Turns out I posted it in this very thread. Didn't realize this was an old thread that got resurrected. Aren't I the fool? I should have read all the posts first. Foiled again!

It’s the thought that counts.
  • I bought the PSw125 from Crutchfield in 2012 and my amplifier also is blown per Crutchfield.and yes they gave me the BS about being out of warranty. I’m not spending 125 for a new amplifier for a 300 sub woofer. Any other ideas?

New houses use to only come with a one year warranty.

I never understood that except the builders probably knew what they were building. :#

  • If I got 6 years out of a $300 subwoofer I would say it gave me a return on investment and buy a new one.

The only one we had that really lasted was an old Velodyne from about 1996 that is still pumping out bass to this day.
