For the 50th anniversary of "The Sound of Music", Sony's Legacy Recording and Razor & Tie has join forces to release the original soundtrack on stereo SACD....

    My mother and sisters wore out this LP in the 60's, so I couldn't help but listen. Developed my appreciation for R & H from these songs. Thanks for posting this.

    Now why in the heck would they release the entire thing on a cd, but leave half off of the SACD? Oh I know they'll release the rest on SACD in 10 years, I'll pass.
