Phase Linear DRS-900 thoughts/info?

Guys, I've got a chance to pick up a Phase Linear DRS-900 for not a lot of coin, but to be honest all I know about PL is that it was Bob Carver's place before Carver. The info I can find on the amp states:
"The DRS 900 Power Amplifier had a low rail rating of 150 watts and a high rail rating of 450 wattsl. The massive appearance of previous high output Phase Linear amps was gone, replaced by a lower profile that still weighed 38 pounds. The LEDs were laid out diagonally for each channel, from lower left to upper right. The DRS 900 had a list price of $1095.00."
OK so does anyone have any experience or comments about the DRS series amps and the 900 specifically? What/how to the different low rail/high rail outputs work? Do you think this could drive a 4 0hm load, and lastly, any chance they are common ground? Any info anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Seems to be the top of the line last amp phase linear put out and the price is right but want some info before pulling the trigger.
thanks
Chris

I am sorry, I don't know anything about this series of amps. I have a PHASE LINEAR 400 amp, 4000 preamp. and an 8000 turntable. I love my PHASE LINEAR equipment, but unfortunately I can not help you with your question.Rocky Bennett
