OMG What Sound !

I took a listen yesterday of a EMI Beethoven Classical Redbook CD through a McIntosh MHA100 Headphone Amp $4,500 list, on Audeze LCD-X Headphones $1,700 list. WOW incredible! Lot of coin...but very impressive. Very quiet between highs and lows but extremely clear (not bright) and solid, but never boomy, bass. No need to reply just passing along what I heard. Rabbit Hole is indeed very deep in this direction too! Thanks.
