Just figured I would throw this out there since Yamaha support said to take it in for service. I have been having the above problems when playing from the built in server function. I have never had these problems when streaming from the same server to the PS3 or the Sony Blue Ray.Does anyone have any ideas on what might be going on?

Are you using Wi-Fi or LAN? I'm thinking maybe you are not getting a strong Wi-Fi signal and the clicking sound maybe it changing dsp modes when signal cuts off. Try using a LAN cable if you are not already. What are you trying to stream? Flac, mp3, internet radio, and at what sampling rate? I stream to my 1010 (LAN ) without any issues. My previous onkyo would cut out when trying to stream hi rez flac files over WiFi.Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

FLACS over Wi-Fi. There is some stuff in front of the antenna (a DVD player). I am going to test some mp3's and see if there is a problem with them.

Thanks the reception seems to be the problem. I cleared the line of site path and I have not had the problems so far. Thanks.
