Sad day.
I know a couple guys who had sent in their HP-1 headphones for him to rebuild.

Boo. Very sad day.

I was unaware that he also invented the moving coil cartridge. R.I.P.

May he rest in peace.
My last TT purchase has a GRADO cartridge in it, my first grado even though I'll have to buy a new needle for it.
It's cool that this design takes all the levels of quality that one can afford. They all are color coded for their levels. Same cartridge, interchangeable needles. Slip one down, slip a new one up, that simple. I think some black goo is to be used for adhesion. I'll have to read more on that stuff later. I think this newest TT has a broken silver insert in the cartridge.
The least affordable is 35.00 I think for another silver coded one.
I might have to get a 50.00 one once I get some $$ flowing again. Black code ??
But I have read GRADO cartridges are quality built and sound great. May he RIP.Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
