Well we all know that ain't true, but I am honored to have been recognized by the automated system that detects when you've spent/ wasted over 3500 posts worth of time here...
In addition to Justin, the architect of the scale, I'd like to thank:
- my Mom for making me go to school and studying so I do not embarass myself too badly spelling and grammar-wise here;
- my wife who tolerates my audio forum participation because it is "more acceptable than surfing for ****";
- my former employer for the generous severance package that freed my time for the pursuit of this honor; and
- my friends in the Club that tolerate my participation...
It may not be as novel as it once was, but it's still good...

Heck I dunno...but I'll take a guess
1) You can make the designs smaller... (8 inches instead of 2 feet )
2) Cheaper, 1 dollar port tubes vs. passive radiators
3) Everyone else was doing it
4) They felt like it
5) someone bet them they couldnt do it
6) They thought it would be cool to have blow holes...@_@
7) They found it held an advantage in the bass department, made them more efficient, and made them sound more boom boom like.
8) the general public likes blow holes (especially Russ)
9) I DONT KNOW, or care really...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
