Replaced my 1.2tl's with CRS+'s
Having sold my SRS's I picked up a pair of CRS+'s to replace them.
I am using an Energy 18" subwoofer to do the low end dirty work.
I know some may find this hard to believe but with the sub hooked up they sound very similar to the 1.2's. So much so that now that I've owned both speakers I will not miss the 1.2's. Anyone else have thoughts on this. Soupbone

I heard some of those in Texas, and was really impressed with the soundstage they throw, for being so small. Small in respect to the others. I think that's a great idea, and would be my approach also.....Sub + CRS is a perfect combination in my eyes. Hoosier is doing this also I believe.
You also run a real nice subwoofer, so that must round things out.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
Are you running the CRS+ full range or do you have them crossed over at a certain point? I am running my 1B's at full range and also have my sub hooked up to the sub output on the Denon 3803. It sounds good but it seems like I have to turn it up to a 80-85db range to get good detail from the music. Could it be the amp I am running doesn't have enough juice? Or is that the limitations of running a smaller set of SDA's? I want to get good detail without having to crank the volume. Any thoughts?Receiver = Denon AVR-3803
DVD = Denon DV-2900
Fronts = SDA SRS 2.3TL's
(Carver m1.5t)
Center = CSi40
Side surrounds = Fxi30's
Sony 12" sub
TV = Hitachi 57F500

I could see either a nice sub supplementing them in a big space or their use in a smaller space being very satisfying...
Glad you are happy. That SDA post partem disorder is a bee-atch...
Edit: Oh, and I agree with F1....
