I got some old Bose 141's hooked up and I am starting to like the presence option. Which speakers would work better with my Polk Audio Monitor70 Series II set up also wich ones will put up with more abuse? They are being powered by what is left over from the Yamaha RX-A1040 at I guess 110 watts.

I would go with polk monitor 40s to have similar sound all around and same ohm rating.
Pioneers BS22 are not bad speakers and have great reviews. I tried their bigger brother FS52 before RTi8's. FS52's send ran my receiver(yamaha rx-v667) much hotter than I wanted it to be. BS22's have similar ratings as FS52's. However, they all run at 6ohms. Ideally you don't want to send 8 ohms to other speakers and 6 ohms to the pair you are looking at.Sony BDP-S6500 | Raspberry Pi 2 | XBOX One S | Wii --> Yamaha RX-V667 --> Adcom 5006 bridged to 175 watts for front LCR -- >Front: Polk Audio RTi8s | Center: CSi5 | Side Surrounds: RTi4s | Rear surrounds: FXiA4s | Cheap 12" sub woofer|Samsung UN60KU6300 -
Monitor 40s seem like overkill for front presence. If you like their sound, maybe monitor 30s?

I couldn't find the 30's so I got the 40's. Maybe over kill but it's like I have six foot towers now.

They are cherry so they match the others the new 40's are black, besides they are on nightstands right next to the bed and the 40's would probably bust my head in a earthquake.

The 40's are fine for solo listening since my lazy boy pretty much blocks the rears.
