It matters not which way the tweeters are installed. If you wanted, you could mount the tweeters in your right speaker with the + facing the top.
It should also be noted that Polk often used small pieces of white tape on another colored wire to mark it as a negative wire. By this point in time it's not unusual for the tape to have come off, so double check your wiring.Political Correctness'.........defined
