Any great deals out there right now on plasma TVs?

I've been on the fence about a new TV for awhile and was wondering if anyone is aware of any smoking deals on a quality plasma in the 50-55" (biggest I would consider is 60") category? Or has that ship sailed? Any smoking deals in LCD TVs that same size if not? I was kind of hoping maybe there'd be some stuff somebody was trying to clear out now ....

Plasmas are all but gone now. If you do find one new, it will come at a premium because nobody has them.

OLED is coming and 4K is looking good as well. Look to LG if you want the best picture for the money.

I got the 51 a couple weeks ago. I'm happy with the picture. I did buy it from sears though. You might want to check with the box retailers in your area. You can usually find plasmas marked down quite a bit in the stores. There are a number of post over at AVSforum on the 60" model.
