Found these on CL today and decided to pick them up. Model is NS-225-made in Japan. The seller played them through a receiver on FM radio just to make sure they were functional. I have no way to listen to them until the movers get here in week, anyone have experience with these older Yamahas? It looks like a 10'' woofer on the low end. Are these worth rehabbing?

    Nice...
    I once scored similar NS-10's for $20.
    Very detailed highs and mids.
    Great for monitor use.

    Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze.

I was just looking at a schematic for the NS-10 and it is identical to this speaker, however, the part numbers on the woofer and tweeter don't match the NS-10. Unlike the SDAs should be a cheap XO to rebuild-only 2x2.7uf for high pass and 1x10uf for low pass(per speaker).
