FX300i Surround With Low Output
Two bits of information I'm looking for please. 1) I have a FX300i surround that is 5-10 db lower output than the other. My first thoughts were the old electrolytics or the dipole switch getting resistive. 2) Is it possible to get a crossover schematic for the FX300i? I found drawings for many other speakers on this website, but not my model. Any help on either of my issues is appreciated and thanks!

Yes. Levels matched and wires swapped to check. I really need the schematic to help troubleshoot where the resistance is coming from. Like I said, the old electrolytics and the cheap switch are likely suspects, but I was hoping for additional input from experts on the forum. Thanks!

Maybe some others will chime in who have ripped them up, but Polk in general isn't in the habit of handing out schematics to their speakers for obvious reasons. Maybe the DIY guys know and will help you out.
Have the 300's myself and have never even heard of one failing. Be interested to hear what you find as the root cause.HT SYSTEM-
