Surround speaker advice!

I am in the process of upgrading almost my entire theater room and I need to know what surrounds to get/keep. My current setup is as follows- SONY XBR55X850b 4K tv, DENON AVR-X2100W 7.2 channel receiver, JUST ordered the POLK TSx 440t's, and I currently have the OWM 5's as rear surrounds, and the OWM 3's as front 'height' channels. I just need to know if I should swap out the OWM 3's and 5's and replace them with TSx 110's or the 220's. Should I get 220's for the back and 110's for the front, or two pairs of 110's, or just keep the OWM's!? Also, should I go with the 150c center channel, or the 250c center channel? My room is only 15' X 10' so I don't wan to completely overpower the room. I just want amazing sound. What is the ideal setup for this size room with my Denon? NEED YOUR ADVICE! Thanks.

That's a nice Sony I have one, that's a nice Denon spec wise I have owned and still own a Denon AVR, that ones got some power to it, not sure what the OWMs timbre match to is it the monitor/TSI/TSX series? That being said spending that kind of coin on your Sony and Denon, I would get something from the RTIA series or the LSIM series. If you like the TSX series then replace the OWM's with the ones you mention.

Try them out when you get the rest of the system and see how it all sounds, if your ears don't have a problem with it you will have answered your question. If not then back to shopping you go.

I did a little reading up on the OWM'S sounds like the are tuned to compliment the Monitor series which I believe the TSX series is a newer version of the TSI line or Monitor series.

I bet those OWMs will sound pretty good with those 440t's try them out first before you decide to get the others that AVR has plenty of power for that set up bet it will sound great enjoy them post some pics once you get it all set up. Oh yeah forgot with that AVR get the 250c that 15x10 room will.be a great sounding room for watching movies for sure I bet you will have a big grin on your face. I applaud you for that Sony one heck of a set for sure and way to go on that a Denon lots of power and it has pre outs.

Sorry a I was thinking of the Denon 4100 specs your X2100 only has Preouts for zone 2 and 95w X 7 which might give you 45Wpc on all channels, that room is small and that denon should be OK with the OWMs in the mix however go with the smaller center 150c and keep your powered sub in the mix. Specs can be misleading on AVRs. In other words that's as far as I would go speaker wise considering you get the 150c and keep your sub in that room, anything bigger you will need a AVR with Preouts to add an external amp.

So you're thinking that the 150c is the better option to go with the Denon AVR-X2100 and the TSx 440t's, as well as the OWM5's and 3's, and the room size? Not sure yet if I will get another sub. Best Buy doesn't carry the 150c, but I can get it off Amazon for $199. Otherwise I'd have to wait 7-10 days to get the 250c ($299) from BB.

What I'm saying is that Denon's a little low on the power, running all your speakers so that 150c will be just fine with that room size it will sound great but I would keep a sub in the mix you don't have Preouts to add a external amp so the sub will make that Denon do less work, and that's if you stay with the OWMs. That will be a good system for that room size but if you want some shaking going on keep a powered sub in the mix.
