The Pale Emperor

Recently, Rolling Stone interviewed Marilyn Manson, and it made me curious about his latest CD. He can rock if he wants to, but other songs could be something else, so I have stayed away from his music. Anyway, The Pale Emperor is pretty good. I already have added four songs to my rock playlist, and will re-listen to the CD later tonite. This CD is a pleasant surprise.

Yep it is a pleasant surprise picked it up the other day. I agree not a huge fan but I am of this one very good job on this one. I kept hearing 3rd day on a 7 day binge on XM, and read an article on it on a German music site comparing it to Jim Morrison had he lived and joined an industrial goth rock band, sprinkled in with
    The Cure.

I have listened to this one several times and have listened to it on the SDA's good selection for them, on my Senheisers, and have put in on my I - pod with my Velodyne-vpulse and the bass is tremendous, let's just say the dogs got an extra mile walk The Pale Emporer is that good. I'm glad some one else is liking it as much as I am enjoy, matter of fact putting it on right now.

I have been a fan for a while. I had friend in high school that was Manson's (Brian Warner) cousin. We were invited to a release party in Canton Ohio when the Mechanical Animals album came out. I couldn't make the party got stuck working, but went up the next day and hung out with Brian's dad Hugh at his home and got to see some really cool stuff from Manson's childhood and some props and things used in some of the music videos. I never met Bryan but his dad and mom seemed to be very good people. They told me their son is just an ordinary guy (talanted) who plays a character that basis it's self on shock value. Later to my surprise Hugh actually came to one of my parties with my buddy...point is people aren't always what they seem and it's okay to enjoy his music as it is just for entertainment, like watching horror movies.

Also...NONE of the rumors about him are true.

Just added three more songs to my rock playlist. This makes seven, which is the most from any single album. Of course, I did buy the version with bonus tracks.
