I am a big, big fan of the audio improvements that clean power, good cables, and vibration elimination will produce when used with decent gear. I refer to it as the foundaton for your stereo.

Yes, in my HT. My two-channel in living room is treated via furniture, carpet, and physical layout. It works quite well. Just last weekend, I removed the Auralex Acoustic foam I had installed on the wall behind the speakers. It helped with the Aerial Acoustics 7Ts, but appears detrimental with the Magico S5s. I also swapped out my listening chair from a recliner that put my ears slightly below the tweeter to a chair that put my ears slightly above the tweeter. This made a big difference in opening up the sound, and appeared to be a bit louder, and clearer. I will do some more experimenting this Friday and Saturday night with rearranging some furniture.

Oh yes, but then the move needs to be evaluated with heightened senses for music.

Seriously though, I have found that the sound is best after the amps have been on about 8 hours, and the night air has settled down. Usually this is around 11PM and later, and that occurs for me on Friday and Saturday night.
