Bought these from 98Badger back in August. You can see the original FS thread here: http://forum.polkaudio.com/discussion/163489/shure-srh-840

I picked up a pair of Sennheiser Momentums in November, and the Shures have been used sparingly since then. They are in the same 9/10 condition & will come with the original box, storage bag, 1/4" adapter, & extra set of pads just like I received.

When I got the Momentums, I was expecting them to be a slam dunk over the Shures. Not so! The Shures are excellent headphones, I just prefer the voicing of the Momentums over the 840s.

Looking to get $110 shipped. Paypal or USPS Money order is fine.

Too much? All you guys have moved past this level? Open to offers or maybe a trade/partial trade. Items of interest: power cords, sacd's, vinyl, decent 2 channel receiver in the 60WPC & up range, soundbar(yeah, yeah, I know, but I have no desire for a real system on the secondary TV & the internal speakers are awful).

Though they are a little heavier, I think the Shures are slightly more comfortable than the ATs. The clamping force is a little less & the pads have more contact area than the ATs. A popular mod for the M50s is to put the Shure pads on them. IIRC, you wear glasses. I haven't put any time on either pair while wearing glasses to comment on how they'd be with them.

Ok thx man I am thinking on it. I do wear glasses, but I also have small ears and haven't found comfy iems. And I only read and write for hours everyday, so I would really like something that I can wear for extended periods. I'll read so more reviews and get back to u.

Rooftop I am a fellow 4 eye and I wear my glasses with these for hours on end playing video games. The only thing is I get sweaty ear inthe dark room with the projector heating the place up. I dont feel any pressure or there is no part that digs in and feels uncomfortable on my head or ears. I love my sure 840's for movies and video games.
