I was wondering the same thing about the camera. You can pick up a decent one for less than 300 beans now.

Got your entertainment cabinet at Sam's Club, huh?

Not that it's a bad thing 'cause it's not. That's a nice cabinet! A real **** to put together though. Assembled my friend's cabinet for his mom. The shelves are solid wood, looks like oak or ash and the structure is plywood with a veneer. It looks like oak veneer but I don't think it's oak. The whole thing cost about 400 bucks so I don't think they used oak veneer. It's expensive and would probably be closer to 900-1000 for that cabinet if it was oak. One thing, just watch the heat. His reciever was shutting down periodically because its hard for heat to get out of the cabinet.

    Jstas,
You cant see it from the pic, but we *oozied* the back of the cabinet with a drill ;)

The Adcoms do run hot though..

Actually, the entertainment center was EASY to put together. One of the easiest pieces of furniture we have put together yet actually.

New camera, nah we are good. It does its job good for what we use it for. To take pics of the outside of houses ;).

Your pop's should bring the SDA's forward to at least in-line with the Ent center, or even slightly forward.

Yeah, we read the manual on that. I would move them...but kinda hard to move 185 pound speakers ;)

What sonic benefits would it hold?

That's OK for HT but he is killing the HS aspects by putting the entertainment center in between them!

We could set them on top of the EC and paint them pink...;)

    Its not my system...

If I owned 1.2tl, they would be in a seperate room seutp for 2 channel listening, seperate from the HT system

Sid you weren't kidding when you said that your pops didn't have anywhere else to put the SVS. Looks like the entire front with the SRSs has what like 2 inches left to spare. Talk about close fit with the fireplace to one side and the hall to the other side.

Your pops might be getting a ton of room gain with that SVS squeezed in like that.

The SVS is hiding all the wires, so we couldnt put it on the other side.

    It is a close fit.
