My old Harmon Kardon avr cramped its Dolby modes. I have ordered a refurbished x2100-w. It report to have 95wpc. I have also ordered a set of rtia3 with 36 inch stands for L/R. I currently have a Polk audio older center channel speaker that I have not yet look at to tell you what model it is. But I believe it has four 51/4" speaker with a crome tweeters and two ports that sit at the centers bottom. It's painted mat black. My surrounds are some cheap old speakers not worth mentioning. I also have 10 or 12 inch energy 125wi. psw.
My tv room is about 11 by 15 feet.
I don't know if the center channel will sound good with the rtia3. If it doesent which center channel would be best for my setup. Plus what to recommend for on the wall surround speaker replacements. And will the 95 Ecp be enough power?

Demon? Are the white vans selling AVR's now?
J/K. Congrats on the new AVR.
CSi3 would be your best bet on the center I believe.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -
You want at least the front 3 to timbre match, so either the CSiA4 or CSiA6. For the surrounds, the FXiA6.Political Correctness'.........defined

Sounds like his center is a CS350. Suspect a typo on the driver sizes. Might match OK for the short term...

Yep. Don't know why I was thinking his speakers were the RTi's instead of RTiA's. You could get by with the speaker I mentioned, but if you need a new one, may as well get the one that matches aesthetically as well.

Sorry for the typo errors. I just got home from work. And rechecked the center. No tags on it to say what model it is. I did measure center speaker. It look to be about 4 inches. The CS350 sounds correct. What about the FXi4 vs FXi6. And is the 95wpc enough to drive all these speaker?

Yeah, I've never had any typos I just thought it was funny because it was similar to the actual brand name much like most white van speakers.
I've never heard the FXi4, but I owned the 6's and thought they did a great job. I actually ran them with an LSi front sound stage and they did fine even with concerts and other 5.1 music.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -
