csi5 pseudo-biamp

I have a NAD 2400 that I am using to power my csi5. I was using it for my rti10's but got a good deal on a NAD 7600 (currently just using the power amp portion) which I use for them now. I am currently using just the one channel on the amp to power the csi5. Would there be any benefit of using a mono to stereo adapter on the input of the amp and then using the left channel to drive one set of posts on the csi5 and the right channel to drive the other set of posts on the csi5 (removing the metal jumper of course!)? The amp is bridgable, but from what I have read in other posts, most people seem to recommend against bridging amps.due to increased distortion. Also, I am using a pioneer vsx9040 as the AVR.

For those not familiar with the NAD 2400, I should mention that it is rated at 100wpc. On a side note I had bought it used and opened it up a month ago. It was a village of dust bunnies. Used my trusty air compressor to clean it out...parts that I thought were gray/beige, turned out to be black lol. Also cleaned out the NAD 7600 and used deoxit on it's knobs and levers. 99 percent of the scratchisness is gone, but that not really matter because I not using the preamp section much, only for cd but I still have the power amp section connected to the pioneer avr so I always have to have both on. I do like the tone controls on the nad7600 vs the pioneer.lsim705,lsim706c,lsif/x(4)+mc80(atmos)
