Subwoofer hum

I have a PSW120, and it hums from the back whenever its powered on. If I press on the plate, the hum stops. If I lift the back up about 30 degrees, it stops. But I can't press on the back all the time and it looks pretty stupid propped up.

Any suggestions?

    Is the hum coming from the woofer, or just the general area of the amplifier? If it's transformer hum, a loose mounting screw on the amp flange might magnify the sound. I think if it was transformer hum, it would do it all the time-- not just when it's on.
