The "old" in my title could refer to the hi-fi or the guys/people (or both)! :- )

If you haven't perused it, you should take a look at the tremendous (and free) on-line resource of materials at Pete Millett's site www.tubebooks.org -- specfically:

I only see one specific item on the Williamson circuit, though. Perhaps not surprisingly, it's an article by David "ultralinear" Hafler (a/k/a David "Dynaco" Hafler) :- )

My very first ever hifi amp was a Williamson (EICO) -- a long, long time ago :- )
